So what did everyone think of the second episode?
I loved Olive and Digby this episode. I hope Kristin C got a ton of money to let the dog lick her face like that. My dogs do that to me all the time but a) they are family so it is marginally less gross and b) I would still rather they didn't. :yucky:
I had to laugh when she started singing Hopelessly Devoted to You. I was wondering how long it was going to take to work her day-job into the show and I love her bedroom decor. I hope she has a hundred rooms all with equally garish decor. :eek2:
I want a dandy-lion car even if it is a deadly dud and you just aren't well dressed unless you are wearing hand-gun cozys .

I didn't watch it yet, but did it feature Kristin a lot? Because I saw her on Ellen yesterday morning, and apparently she fell down some concrete parking garage steps just before she had a big ep coming up and cracked some ribs. She also explained that she chopped her hair off after accidentally lighting it on fire - she was throwing up in the toilet and caught her bun on a candle on the toilet tank! The woman is a mess.

Yep, it did quite a bit. I thought hubby was going to leave when it turned into a musical but he hung in there. Maybe that's why they kept breaking up the song - if she had cracked ribs - to let her catch her breath. I've heard that really hurts.
And her hair is adorable - but how could she be anything but?
<--- also wants a dandy-lion car. That was hilarious that the ceo of the company drove a Hummer :24:

I thought it was cute. I still love the narrator. I feel like I am listening to some PG rated Harry Potter cd. :) and I loved the line about how the flower girl sent 15 minutes crying to purge her feelings and then soon would do the same with the pie. It is just wrong to hear the Harry Potter narrator say things like that. :)

I'm still lovin' it, too. I think the girl who plays Chuck is utterly adorable, and the pie maker's longing, painful glances that he gives her make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. However, I can't see many guys sitting through this much cutesiness, man-knitting and characters randomly breaking into song no matter how clever and witty the show is.
But perhaps I'm wrong...? :)

They are still loving it too.
My fiancee likes it but he is a big Tim Burton fan. He says the mushy stuff (and everything else) is so over the top it acts as kind of an antedote to the chick-show vibe it might have otherwise. Although as much as I enjoy it, the singing might be a bit much for the man-audience so they shoudl probably use that sparingly.

if they keep up with the witty snarky lines delivered right in with the sugar sweet, it works. There were some real gems in this one...my fave?
"You want to marry secrets and have half-secret half-human babies!"
I've already seen someone with the icon on lj. lol.

LOL. I have to say, this is fast becoming one of my favorite shows. I find myself looking forward to it as much as Heroes and that is saying something. ;)

Still haven't seen 1.02. Very slow on the tivo these days.
I just saw on Kristin from E!'s spoiler column that she'll be playing a dead body in 1.03. LOL! That should be particularly amusing to all us spoiler hounds!

:biglaugh: So many comments, so little time.
My favorite line was from the narrator - when Chuck asks where the real dummies are he says 'As Emerson ponders a sarcastic and slightly insulting comment' or something like that.
I also like when Chuck locks Emerson out of the car and repeats his 'hold on a minute' face to him.
This episode was worth watching just for the dandelion hats.
i love everything about this show.
i want a dandilion car. and chuck's clothes. and olive's hair.

Dm, you got the quote in your sig I was going to recall... ;p :D
How about the CEO showing the girls how to present their flowers...
This show is blast. I'm a guy and there's no way I'll stop watching it unless it gets cancelled without reprieve the way Wonderfalls did...
