So in Boom Town where the TARDIS lands by the big waterfall thingy, that is where the Torchwood elevator pops up?

i should link you to my pics of Partyman dancing around the area as a tourist. :24:

FWIW, at that time Jack had no idea about Torchwood. also the way that the area is shot makes it look far more "compact" than it is IMO. i was surprised by how really LARGE the plass area is compared to on screen.

That's funny, usually it's the other way around. I've been watching Season 1 episodes that my DVR was kind enough to record.

i know! the one thing they do do on DrWho/TW is they make Cardiff look bigger as a city but everything is really close together when you are walking about the city. but the Plass, not so much. ;)

maybe next time i go there it won't be windy and raining sideways. :eek2: but rather sunny like you see at times on DrWho and TW.

It's been a long time since I've been to Europe, but the one thing that I remember is that it rains...a lot. Sometimes it would be a beautiful sunny day and then all of a sudden downpour!

That might be true but not for ALL of Europe. We do have some quite different climate zones around here. ;)

True! Well, like I said it was a long time ago and I've only been once. I went to about seven countries in 3 weeks on a summer program, Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Belgium. It probably didn't rain everyday, but it did rain often.
