there isn't going to be a next season ABC didn't order LOST for a second season, They were very pleased with the shows ratings and all but they felt dragging the show on would be counter productive which is why the finale was bumped up from 90 Minutes to 2 hours to tie up the shows loose ends. I agree with ABC completely.

About the producer and director changes...do shows usually change that in the middle of the show?

But there is definitly LOST season 2. I have heard from another thread that it will continue to be on Wensday nights but it will be moved back and hour to 8 pm est, and Alias moves to another night.

i know the topic of michelle rodriguez has been debated but i don't know if it has been comfirmed or not. According to www.latinoloop.com she is going to be a cast member in season 2. whether it's in flashbacks or not is yet to be seen.

If LOST was on that list of notable TV appearances for Samuel L. Jackson then it's gone now. Maybe they didn't want to give it away.
