I don't watch a lot of TV... oh.. is that the reality show where ppl do all sorts of really weird stuff?

I don't watch reality shows at all...

It's the only one i watch. Yeah, they get these stunts to do, like eating spiders or jumping between moving boats - last night this one girl got named by Jeff Rogan (the host) as "the worst Fear Factor participant EVER" - I was just cracking up so loud my hubby came out to the living room to see what was up.
She refused to do the first stunt, which was jump into a cylinder of water, swim out the bottom of it into a tunnel, and hook a little buoy onto a clasp, then swim back out.
Jeff just ragged on her so bad, calling her "terrible", asking her if she'd ever *watched* the show, she said oh yes, I have, and he said "then I don't understand what the hell you're doing here!" He actually swore at her!
THEN she refused to do the 2nd stunt!! Of course he kicked her off the show, but it was the funniest thing I've seen in ages.

sounds like she just wanted to get an appearance on TV... what was her fear? water? and what was the second one she refused? but yeah... she should have been kicked off... that's not the point of the show... to refuse the stunt... sheesh...

I think her fear must have been water - I mean, she wouldn't even stick her toes into it!
The second stunt was for one person to stand behind this glass wall, with a little hole in it. The other person was blindfolded, had to walk across the room, stick their head into this basin that was full of leeches, put as many into their mouth as they could, then go back to the wall and transfer the leeches through the little hole into their partner's mouth, who then spit them into a bowl. The team with the least number of leeches at the end got kicked off.

from what I've seen in ads... I'm surprised they still are on the air... cause some of those stunts are dangerous... that one in particular... if someone accidently swollowd a leach... they have to have emergency surgery... and have it removed...

well that would be an interesting story for the grandkids LOL

you story reminded me of my hubby... when we were dating... our first Christmas... he gave me this cheap picture book of Disneyland... and I look at it... ok... kinda like whatever... thanks... then he said open it up... and he had written a note on the inside... all expenses paid trip to disneyland in LA for I think it was 3 days... had to arrange time off from work and everything... had a great time... had never been to Disneyland before... LOL...

I've been to Disney in Orlando. but I was only 6 and all I remember is that I was really bummed cuz the castle/palace thingy wasn't open yet. LOL

I've only been to Disneyland... but then living in CA... sorta makes sense that I wouldn't have been else where... haven't been to the new one thou... California Adventures... haven't been there yet...

talked to hubby about maybe flying down and going to the LOST party that's being planned for early April... sounds like it'd be cool... fly down for the weekend... only problem is like a week and 1/2 later I leave for Italy... so that's a lot of traveling... may do it thou... it's be fun...
