Didn't it look like Locke was getting shot by Sayid in the preview after the show? What's up with that? I thought only one death.....

Sure looked like him getting shot--but it could be in an hallucination, or the island could probably heal him. We'll have to see.

Locke can most certainly die. That's not to say he will, but he most definitely could.

He was bloodied because he's still wearing the same shirt that he was wearing when he carried Boone to the caves. Although it looked like he was wearing a different shirt in the scene where it appears he's being shot. I'll have to review it on the DVR.

he was not shot...just rewatched promo for 15 min, about 25 times through, there is an explosion and smoke from it...and hes stumbling from it...

I would argue that they are NOT being careless with secrets now. *No way. *I believe they showed us that much about Boone in the last preview BECAUSE they thought we would think they were leading us on. *Which most people did. *Isn't that the perfect setup? *Because then, they just follow thru with it and what happens is different from what people thought would happen. *Despite how much they showed us.

I did not see that, and neither did you ;), we both saw- Sayid with a gun, pointed at Locke. *Scene shifts. *Smoke, and Locke falling backwards.

why do people put spoiler tags in threads that say preview when they are discussing the preview? If people are stupid enought to go into a thread that says preview without wanting to know what the preview is about they deserve to be spoiled. That being said the preview looked like it was 2 diff scenes

So, after looking at the preview again, does anyone have a guess about this aspect:

who removed the key to the gun suitcase from around Jack's neck? It could have happened while he was struggling with Locke...he clearly has the key at the beginning of that scene. Kate is one of the people trying to hold him back. Do you suppose she took the opportunity to snag that key? Later we see that Sayid has a gun,, though, so maybe he's the key thief.

You guys, come on...In the scene where Sayid has the gun aimed at Locke ("no more lies") everyone is bone dry. In the shot at the end where Locke is falling back (maybe or maybe not shot by a gun) IT IS RAINING. That is so the least sneaky edit ever.

And Locke has a different color shirt on.

Don't forget that Locke found a gun on the fake priest/drug runner's body in Deus Ex Machina. *Perhaps Sayid takes that gun from Locke but that the preview was edited to make it look like Sayid had taken the key to the Halliburton?

Also, did it look to anyone else like that scene of Jack charging at Locke was the same as Boone's funeral? *After all that happened, would Locke actually be clueless enough to make his big entrance at Boone's funeral? *That's so eeevil...

i completely forgot about the "priest's" gun...thanks...that puts things into play for me now

I keep seeing the wet / dry shirt issue going on everywhere. Has anyone considered that they are in the tropics, and you can be dry one second and soaked the next.
