I'm thinking John Scott was re-animated by Massive Dynamic and he is using the psychic link to Olivia that Walter created before to guide her. That's how he is appearing in her mind.

I don't know, the simple concept that he is a figment of her mind, caused by the figment of his conciousness left over works pretty well to me. The only indication we've had that he has a physical presence is when he "kissed" her, but it was subsequently shown that perhaps she was the only one perceiving him there.

I don't see his reappearances tied to MD at all, or anything they're doing. I feel like they are givign fairly clear indications through her convos with Walter and Charlie that this is going on in her mind, not because of some outside group doing anything with John. I think if he was being projected or used by MD, he'd have more of a cry for help quality about him.

I feel there has to be more to it than his just being a figment of her imagination due to the link simply because it was explained all nice and neatly so soon in the series. Whenever it's that easy there's always something more to it.

I'm not saying that MD is behind John's reappearances to Olivia. What I'm syaing is that it was pretty obvious that MD's intentions were to (maybe) re-animate John in some way in order to "question" him. Assuming MD did that, I'm suggesting that the previous link that Bishop created to place Olivia in John's consciousness may be the conduit John is using to contact her now.

Okay. I never saw him as reanimated though. That's all I'm saying. More like they were reconstructing the "hard drive"...going through the brain. But I guess that kind of keeps the channel open. Makes sense.
