I for one did *not* expect boone to die.

Was it because I missed the clues? No.
Was it because I thought that he would die later? A little.

The show has so much symbolism and foretelling, that we have come to expect the unexpected. I expected Locke's pops to screw him over. I expected Sawyer helping out.

But, Boone dying was too obvious. We KNEW he was going to die. Therefore, he couldnt. His death brings back reality.

And speaking of cigars...when Claire poped out the baby and it showed Charlie and Jin all excited, I was thinking now is the time for a nice cigar.

I'm with you Quigs. I thought it was too obvious to happen as well. I guess they did a good job with a twist after all. I really thought Jack would save him and then someone else would go. That's how they get ya!

I thought the birth was slightly anticlimatic, but I really enjoyed Jin and Charlie together.
