I have been rewatching season 4 recently, and I honestly think it is the most emotionally draining of all. THe longer seasons usually had the occasional "light" episode that would give a break from the drama. But not season 4. I really think I teared up or cried in almost every episode.

I was wondering what scenes people thought were the most emotional.

I voted the murder/assassination of Alex, and I would add the part where Ben says goodbye.
Even if Ben isn't one of the "good guys", it was hard to watch, for me.

i voted for the assassination of Alex.

i've gotta say that that is one of the most disturbing, emotional wrecking scenes i have EVER seen. i have seen a lot of horror movies where i cover my eyes, and where i have had tears in my eyes because of the horrible circumstances, but his takes the cake. it takes the prize.

i do have to say that the scene was realistic. the writers decided not to sugar coat it. how many times have we watched a suspenseful scene in a tv show or a movie and we think, oh, they're not going to kill them. they're going to let them go. they aren't because the plot would not be realistic. that's the way i feel about the scene with alex (God rest her soul:down:).

i cannot even watch that episode again, and it was one of the best with the witty remarks and the action.

i get tears in my eyes thinking of it. oh the horror:shock1:.
