View Full Version : Manifest ... Sawyer's name?
beijing29650 12-02-2004, 11:27 AM So, did Hurley ever ask Sawyer's info?* He asked him for the manifest, but never asked about Sawyer like he did with the others.* *:-\
Seems to me that Sawyer's name wouldn't have been on the manifest either.* Unless he had actually taken the time to legally change his name to Sawyer.*
Speaker 12-02-2004, 11:36 AM I'm thinking he legally changed it a long time ago.
kaidysoft 12-02-2004, 11:49 AM they never did let Hugo say WHO was not on the list - they just cut to Ethan...maybe it IS Sawyer...
or - he was registered as Mr. Sawyer for the plane...he's a con man on the lam - i'm sure most of his "legit" paper are not
kaidy

I think you are right ... he was probably listed as Sawyer on the manifest somehow.* What is the point of an assumed identify if everyone knows who you really are?* :lol2:
I just can't believe Sawyer is the evil one.* He definitely is naughty.* But evil?* I may be a sucker for creative editing .... but right now I am betting on Ethan.* He certainly had a creepy look in his eyes.
katejones 12-02-2004, 12:10 PM The man has been using the Mr. Sawyer alias for nearly 2O years. I'm certain that he has a passport and identification under the name Sawyer. I do doubt that he would have legally changed his name, though. It would leave a paper trail and make it easier for his victims or the authorities to track him down.
mammasays 12-02-2004, 01:30 PM I honestly do think the possibility still exists that the person who was not on the plane was Hurley himself. He took the offensive and took the census, so he could head off anyone else doing it. Like Locke said, "Who's checking you?" I think that was a prescient question.
Mygirl 12-03-2004, 09:42 PM No, it wasn't Hurley (we find that his name is Hugo) not on the plane, it was Ethan!
My What 12-03-2004, 11:24 PM I just wanted to leave this topic alone but you all no I could not. ABC has wrote in the summary of "Raised by another" that the person who was not on the manifest is Ethan. No ifs, and, or buts about it. Sorry.
Robinhood56 12-03-2004, 11:54 PM As I mentioned on another thread, I hav been to boards that are run by someone who works for the network and must get their info from watching the show or somehting but not from the people who make the show. On more than one occasion they had incorrect information. Until we know who runs that board and where they get their information from we can't be sure it is correct.
Why would the writers go through the trouble of not having Hurley mention a name and then put it on the board? Why not just have Hurely say the name. Makes me suspicious.
There could be if, ands and maybe even buts.
My What 12-04-2004, 12:26 AM Why would Fury go through the trouble of creating the smallest cliff hanger in the history of television and then have the writer of the diary on the ABC board, which is the writers assistance, write the answer to Jack sinking the putt? I guarantee the same people write up the summaries and have exclusive information to what is going on in the show. I am not disagreeing with the fact of who ever wrote Ethan is the person not on the manifest is incorrect. I am simply stating that since this is on the "Official" board of the people who own the rights to the show that this is what is fact until proven different.
By the way, just incase a member does not know what I am reffering too. The Fury cliffhanger I am writing about is the putt JJ and Crew had the character Jack putt and did not show whether Jack made the putt or not.
Robinhood56 12-04-2004, 12:45 AM Do you know for a fact that the people at the ABC board are the same as the ones here?
Fury answered the question about the putt because it wasn't a big deal. Not exactly a spoiler.
Unless you have some inside information on who is running and writing for the ABC board I don't see how you can be so positive. You guarantee it?
How? ???
grackle 12-04-2004, 12:54 AM On the linear board a writer's assistant called Raggs visits. He and Dawn write the Guides and Diary.
Robinhood56 12-04-2004, 01:03 AM Thanks grackle.
Of course now that makes me suspect misdirection.
My What 12-04-2004, 02:09 AM Ah thank you Grackle for sparring me the I am right dance. ;D Nah just kiddin RobinHood56. I should have posted the same information Grackle did when I presented my information the first time. My fault. :)
GettinLost 12-06-2004, 11:44 PM SO! It's Raggs and Donna who are writing the ABC Diary?!? I just want some type of confirmation - negative or positive about what goes on in the @#$%&^!*%%$ Diary!!!!! I actually "bumped" a post in the VIP question area and now it has been deleted I guess. I can't find it listed there anymore. It was originally posted by someone else whose question hadn't been answered either!!!
Does ANYONE know if the Diary and the Episode plots go hand and hand?? The Diary acts like a "recap" of the episodes, however, it is MOST INFURIATING in that it starts little "rumors"! I have always heard, "behind every rumor is a little kernal of truth".
DOES ANYONE KNOW?!?!? AAAAAHHHHHhhhhhh!!!! (runs screaming from room pulling hand-fulls of hair from head!)
