I just watched all the Missing Pieces (for the first time) on the DVD and had a couple of questions if anyone can answer...

1. In The Envelope are we to assume the contents of the envelope contain Ben's x-rays?

2. Why do the Missing Pieces look different to regular episodes, are they filmed differently, different camera's/lenses etc, they look a bit cheap?

3. In King of the Castle does anyone else find it hard to believe that Jack would have sat down to a cosy night of chess and conversation with Ben? It seemed completely out of character in my opinion.

It seemed alright to me. We also saw him playing football with Tom, which seemed out of place at the time.

Out of character? Sayid said he would have sold his soul if he ever helped Ben. Jack is listening to Ben...I think it is insane!

Or could it be two different time expressions of Jack? Jack in 2004 and Jack of 2010?

Perhaps LOST is just a chess game? ;) See: http://forum.thefuselage.com/showthread.php?p=2038814

Looking forward to your comment!

1. yes
2. I assume so
3. like wwjd said, it seemed alright, what was he supposed to do when he was a "captive" sulk in his house all day, it probably felt nice being able to do civilized things again like play catch and chess, plus he thought he was going to get let go, which by the way I never thought was gonna happen. too2 bring up an interesting point, Ben was in the wheel chair, but of course that could be his punishment for returning to the Island after he was kicked off by Christian or Jacob, whoever had decided to make it happen.

2) My thought was they were either made quickly, or in the case of dleted scenes, never fully produced,,,as they were deleted.

I assumed the film quality was different because these were planned on being shown on a phone. I wouldn't spend a lot of money when it's just for watching on a phone.
