(Dr. Sumner was the Sheriff on Roswell)

Thank you! I knew I recognized Dr. Sumner from somewhere, but I could not place it.

Yes, Sam about the green and red lights, etc. I thought of you when they came up in the show! LOL! Some kind of hynotizing pattern associated with them, as we saw. What's the relationship between the red/green lights' pattern that can hypnotize people and the Pattern itself?

It showed up in the pilot episode so I'm wondering if Olivia might have experienced something. I think Walter has experienced the lights before.

The green, green, green, red theme has been in every episode.

Something about the color of the lights blinking in a certain order hypnotizes people - what is it?

Why hypnotize people that way vs. another way?

Do the green and red lights ever OVERLAP each other in the blinking process?

Do the green and red lights ever OVERLAP each other in the blinking process? I don't think so. But we've only had a few examples.

Well, it does look like there could be a blue light in the background of the second site you quoted. If the lights overlap you get a blinding white light. The lighting combined could make it seem like someone disapeared.

But the blinking is like a warning... go...go...go... STOP! Or get ready, get set, GONE, stop????

It's one of those things, you have to watch the scene, with the lights in mind, a screen cap isn't going to catch the lights.

I think the lights may have shown up in The Same Old Story outside lighting at the motel. i noticed it but didn't have a reference for it.

Again no reference to the Golden Ratio that I can see. Has my pet theory (http://forum.fringedivision.com/showthread.php?p=2045204#post2045204) been abandoned?

Don't give up too much. Not every theory needs to be hammered home in every episode to be valid. The best real theories are subtly interwoven over the course of a season, not necessarily episode by episode.

Agreed. It's just that there was a fairly consistent flow of clear content, and it seemed to dry up rather suddenly. I really hope they revisit the idea of the proportions of the lab, and that it leaks over into the show. I'd really like to know what that's about. And the bit about the transmitter on the roof!...

ETA: ALERT! Fibonacci is in play on the air! And Walter has openly declared his interest in the Fibonacci cycle! :ohyes:
