There are lots of supportive evidence and links within the post. It's worth reading the whole thing through. Thanks! Now I know why when Hurleys mom slapped the left side of his face he felt the right side of his face, thats been buggin' me forever! Good Job  spookykid 01-19-2009, 10:43 AM Never been poped in the jaw eh? The skin might hurt on the side thats hit but the opposite side is where the real pain from dislocation is. But many things are mirrored on the show, so there seems to be a normal island and mirror island. Check some of the set discrepencies that have not been fixed or clerified. Things switch from left side to right, colors change, items appearances change slightly. There are so many I cant be more detailed but I will find some specifics if you want. I don't think Hurleys mom dislocated his jaw, it was just so obvious that it was intended to be noticed yet fly under the radar. Alex's find also coincides with my idea that the pregnant women/babies on the island were actually experiencing auto immunity to their own babies and vice versa thus no full term pregnancies. Yes, mirror twin is apparent on the show and that is what is so cool about Alex's find. Don't need any examples, 99% of so-called continuity on the show is intentional otherwise a lot of people wouldn't have a job :eek2: MikeNY 01-19-2009, 06:55 PM http://mirrormattermoon.blogspot.com/ I didn't write this, so don't give me credit but my mind just got blown. As a matter of fact... that theory was born from pieces of threads on this board. :) I do update the page periodically, and I appreciate continued feedback, but I generally try to spare people here from more discussion of it. I think all of the regulars have read it in some form or another. Now I'm more inclined to think the island is a ship from the future. Cheers! Thanks :) Meano Franko 01-19-2009, 08:20 PM I love this theory. Absolutely love it. 100% No, really. I'm now subscribing to this theory. I just sent the link to all my Lost friends to see what they think. Wow. MikeNY 02-20-2009, 09:19 PM For what it's worth, I think the Adelos metaphor is stronger than ever. Tramp 02-21-2009, 09:17 PM Wow, Mike, what a comprehensive, internally consistent and, well, cool scenario. I've seen many of the bits and pieces in posts on the 'Lage, but had never seen this in full-blown exposition. Very, very, nice. Tramp — I'm really, really into a solution based on something like your timeship. timetravellingbunnies 02-23-2009, 11:27 AM i think you've just about nailed it mate,gr8 stuff:) bigmouth 02-23-2009, 12:06 PM Mike, maybe not mirror matter but still a moon? After all, a moon is always in motion. Six numbers could be used to describe its orbit. The pendulum could be used to model it. Ack just saying... Six numbers could be used to describe its orbit. The pendulum could be used to model it. Ack just saying... Sounds good. I only continue to entertain dark mirror matter because it seems to fit on several counts. But, but, we need specifics. For example, how would it be in orbit yet accessible by Zodiac over a decent time span? bigmouth 02-24-2009, 02:28 PM Sounds good. I could get down with the latter possibility.... MikeNY 02-24-2009, 04:51 PM Do you mean the whole Island or just the pocket of exotic matter? I could get down with the latter possibility.... Alas, it's the whole sucka. After all, the genesis was a moon moving through Earth. In that scenario, the exotic matter is there because it's necessary to let the moon be accessible. I think the promising alternative is that the island has an enormous pocket of exotic matter with commensurate effects. And for that scenario, I think baryonic dark matter should be dropped completely. In that case the island is probably a place of judgment (good or bad), like Duat. So I guess it's all (less probable) or none (more probable). |
