Just a random observation I had after watching "The Lie" for a second time...

Sayid comes to only after Jack flashes a light in Sayid's eye. The first time I saw it, it didn't mean anything to me. But after seeing it a second time, it immediately reminded me of when the Freighter Doc flashed a light in Desmond's eye. And if you recall, Desmond time-jumped right after that. A connection? Was Sayid riding a ferris wheel?

As a medical professional, all I could focus on was the fact that he didn't turn the oxygen on enough to fill the bag on the mask and I couldn't figure out why he was so focused on the ekg

Whatever reversal agent Jack gave Sayid would take a moment to activate, especially an intramuscular injection. Shining the light into his pupils was to see if he was reacting appropriately. That's how I took it.

Slightlyaddicted... I also wondered why the focus on the EKG, especially considering it was a nice normal sinus rhythm.
