There's a lot of discussion on the exact words in the transmission Boone heard, but I'm wondering if we should look at it a different way. Boone, before making his own transmission, said "please copy"-- I'm wondering whether the receiver of the transmission- whoever he or she (or it!) is-- was simply repeating Boone's transmission back as he asked....??

Maybe this has already been discussed, but ABC just showed a preview clip of the upcoming episodes and the voice on the other end of Boone's conversation clearly said "We're the survivors of Oceanic 815".
