Well, by now the kids must all be grown-ups (like Ben) and I wonder if those kids are now the "Others" that we got used to know. Unless I have the impression that all "Others" seemed to be "Imported" people.
On the other hand we know that the kids of Oceanic815 have been abducted by the others and shipped to Hydra-island (with Cindy). Are they still there? (the Hydra must have skipped with the main island too).
Do the kids experience the same time travelling flashes like the grownup castaways?
It would be very likely. Will Cindy skip with them or are the kids now on their own?

i would think that they are at the "temple" which we have never seen. that is where ben said they would be going back before cabin fever. i was hoping that after ben told locke to find "his people" that they would be waiting for him, that we would finally she it, but we didn't.

As far as the kids that were in the class with little Ben learning about the volcano, they would have all grown up along with him and been victims of the purge. Ben wiped out all of the Dharma Initiative then remember?

The kids from flight 815 are another story though. I'd say they are probably in The Temple but who knows really?? Cindy isn't with them anymore though, we saw her in the Jungle with Richard and the other ... well others right before John started to time-travel.

Cardie noted in another thread that the kids and Cindy might be time jumping too. I hadn't thought of that, but it makes sense. Unless Cindy was actually an Other who was planted on the plane, in which case she might not be TT-ing. Hard to say. But I think the kids are. I just don't know if we'll see them any time soon. They'll need different kid actors, right?

I'm thinking you're right about the temple Kathleen. Ben mentioned that it was the safest place you could be, and that's where the others were headed. Maybe he meant that it would keep whoever was there safe from the jumping. Maybe he had an inkling that moving the island would be what Jacob wanted. I'm also guessing that the temple may also protect them from other dangers such as smokey for example.

Either way ,, this is going to be a tough one to film, unless they allready filmed it years ago... If they go the "kids didnt age route"... they will need different actors... if they go the "aged route" they also will ,,, because the actors will be 3-4 years older than they should be... At that age ,,, its a huge difference...

Didnt last season Faraday tell Desmond that he thought the whole time travel issue was due to overexposure of certain types of radiation?

If we think about Locke and the Losties being exposed to radiation during season 2 with the swan hatch, and the later on when "the sky went purple", then once again when Ben moved the island. Maybe we can assume that the others could have taken treatments to remove any radiation they might have accumulated.

Now this wouldnt apply to Juliet because she was branded (literaly) and made into an outcast after she killed one of her people shortly after the begining of season 3. Since then she has been living on the beach with the losties possibly accumulating time travel radiation!, and so has the new group (faraday, juliet, miles).

If the kids (Emma and Zack, at least I remember them) age, then there's no reason the same actors can't be used. Both the characters and the actors will have aged 3-4 years.

With all the time travel going on any character might be any age these days.

I believe that Zach and Emma are still at the Temple, probably with Cindy, Harper, and a bunch of other miscellaneous Others.

I agree with that theory that everyone inside the Temple is *protected* from the time-jumping...they continue to age forward, as normal -- while everyone outside of the Temple on the island begins jumping through time erratically.

This way, the writers can explain that Zach and Emma just aged by three years (because they were inside the Temple, in which time kept moving forward) if they want to revisit Cindy and the kids in Season 6.
