Why did dead Anna Lucia tell Hurley to stay away from cops and not to get arrested? It looked like it was no big deal. There was nothing made of his time in jail yet. Are we going to see more of his time in jail later?

I think it was important as an audience to have Anna tell Hurley to not get arrested, therefor when he willingly gets arrested we know just how much Hurley does not trust/like Ben. This is reaffirmed when Ben gets on the flight. I would love to see Hurley in jail, but if nothing happened there that is essential to the story we may never get more orange jumpsuit Hurley.

I do not know how many episodes are left this season, but I feel we are going to get three episodes, "How Hurley got on the plane", "How Sayid got on the plane" and "How Kate got on the plane" episodes. Oh yes, and a "How Ben hurt himself" episode. Hopefully TPTB can put all of then into one episode, get it over with and move on to more important things.

From a standpoint of showing how much Hurley is trusting Sayid and disliking Ben, it makes sense...but from dead-but-here!Ana Lucia's standpoint it is confusing to know what the purpose is for.

I agree that we are probably going to get separate "flasharound" episodes where we see how people got to the plane. I hope they are separate and interspersed with island action, much like flashbacks were in early seasons...so the action is still moving forward but we get to see their motivations. Trying to cram all of the flashbacks in one episode wouldn't be ideal for character development and make them feeling rushed, in my opinion.
