I'm always thinking what will happen to Kate before the series is done for good.

Will we see her walk on the sand in the last shot or the unimaginable?

maybe the real shocker will be her sinking ankles on the shore (as a child!). MWAHAHAH.

she's in this for the long haul. even if she was destined to die, she would make it to the end of the series. she is too integral to the show, just as much as ben is, as locke is and aaron. i love the rest of the cast, but i'm just pointing to the characters that have very big parts involved with the show.

dark ufo and fans cannot get her gone! she was brought onto the show as the female lead. they kept jack because a writer's family member said that there was no way to kill hero, jack. so, they then had a female lead and a male lead. she is integral to the show. she will bloom this season and next. we will see what she means to the island. evi has said that she's in it til the end. the writers and producers would not invest so much time and energy in the character if she was not, as some people call it, the endgame. she will be left standing at the end and if not, at least she won't die til the end. i love the show, but i really don't know what it would be without her. she is the character people love to hate. we love to hate another character, and he has no threat of leaving either. i don't want to see any of the original losties gone. the preview for next show makes me worry about
sayid. and if anything happens to him, i will die.

plus, adam, if they got rid of kate, what would they do with the triangle. no one else can fill her shoes in the chemistry/love department. the fans would disappear like the island did!

please don't worry about the ones who hate her. i think it tickles the writers to death!

Why is darkufo more relevant than the fuselage? It is just another fansite. Fans do not have a huge impace on the main storylines of the show and if you watch the DVD commentaries and listen to the interviews of Darlton you will see that they know the end of their show already. No fansite can change that.

Anyway, killing off Kate earlier than Season 6 would be show suicide in my opinion.

She is the de facto female lead.

I've never liked Dark Ufo that much, especially for the spoiler issues, but I think that if you have a "good theory" about Kate (and I have it), nothing can change your mind until the end of the show. P.S.: I wonder if there are still too many people that judge women just because their behaviour with men and not because of what they really are "inside": that's one of the reasons I love Kate so much and I really don't care if she'll love Jack or Sawyer for ever, is there a for ever? Nothing's for ever, except LOST! :P

maybe i'm wrong, but i never worry about kate dying. she's one of the main characters, who i'm sure will survive until at least the last few episodes (like jack and locke).

but i too am fed up with all the kate-bashing on the various blogs. a good 75% it comes from shippers who are just pissed that she kissed jack, or kissed sawyer, or whatever. the writers know this, and it hasn't stopped them from continuing the triangle, so obviously, they are not influenced by the blogs.

I don't think she'll die either. Don't see any danger of that happening.

No way. They wouldn't do that to us! Would they? I think the only possible casualties are Juliet and Sayid. I'm betting Kate and everyone else ends up okay somehow.
