is it just me or did you notice that Sawyers speach to Jack about: I read...etc... it helps me think... was similar to the way Locke reacts to people? Just the way Sawyer made a point of saying Winston Churchill read a book everynight, etc.. Locke and Ben had a similar chat while Ben was Henry Gale in the Swan..
I could be wrong but to me there was a similarity..

You're right, it's very similar. Now that you mention it, it reminds me of the speech Locke gave to Boon about Michelangelo staring at the block of stone for a month before starting to sculpt it.
