How come Radzinsky did not pick up on Sayid's accent? The hostiles were born on the island and sound like Richard. The DI recruits come from all over but are checked in, so anyone with an accent would be known to have an accent. When Sayid said that he was one fo the hostiles, his accent came through loud and clear. I would think that someone as strict and rash as Radzinsky would pick up on this right away.
Before someone brings up Bea or Mikhail...they were both DI memebers that assimilated into the Others, they were not native hostiles.

Great point! I'm surprised he missed that, now you mention it.
OT, I feel really bad for poor Sayid! He hasn't had the best life, and after being nearly murdered trying to save Hurley, he's been arrested, and now he's behind bars on the island, facing apparently hostile treatment from his former friends, Jin and even Sawyer (yes, I know they weren't best mates, but they had a history!) He's all alone now, isn't he?
I just feel like he's been getting the worst deal this season. And I really do not want things to continue down this route, either. :(

Mikhail later said he lied about having been a Dharma member.
But he was recruited.

Apparently the natives are recruited somehow as well... remember Charles Widmore and Ellie have British accents, whereas Richard has an American accent.

NOT all hostiles were born on the island. There are recruits.

I really feel that we'll discover that Richard is the island's only true indigenous inhabitant.

If he is not some sort of deity/supernatural being, then I totally agree.
