I was just wondering - Sawyer & his fellow time jumpers have been with the Dharma people for 3 years, & Sawyer has even attained the trusted position of head of security.
So in all that time, what has he learned about who's ultimately in charge of the DI off island? Obviously Horace isn't the head honcho...who does he take his orders from? where does Mr Chang (Marvin Candle) fall in the Dharma heirarchy?
If I were a con man on Sawyer's level, I'd at least express a little curiosity to Horace in the three years I'd been with them.

I dont think the chain of command would all that important in Dharma, we're more curious about the main man from the hostiles which is Richard and apparently Jacob.

Think it might go something like this:

Off-Island: Founders & Official Heads of DI
Alavar Hanso
|
The DeGroots
|
On-Island Heads of Operations:
Horace (Head of Planning/Development/Community things) <---------> Pierre Chang (Head of Science & Research)
|
Other Administrators
|
Sawyer, head of Barracks (Internal) Security
|
Civilian DI members

Horace apparently works at The Arrow though, which we have seen, which would also presumably make him chief of external security.
