I'll be in L.A. next weekend, Dec. 10th & 11th. Maybe a group of us could meet for lunch Saturday and talk about the show, etc. I'm staying not far from Hollywood, but I have a car. Post a message if you're interested, have suggestions for a place to meet, etc. BTW, I'm from Pittsburgh, so I don't get to LA very often.

Well, I would, but I'll be at Book Soup in West Hollywood at the Alan Lee book signing. He's a Tolkien Artist extraordinare, who has been illustrating LOTR for years, and helped design the look of the Lord of the Rings films. So, I must go, must meet fabu artist, must invite him to our con, must geek out with fellow Tolkien fans. This is all taking place at 2pm, so again, makes doing lunch impossible. But early dinner is a possibility, then again, most of the local Tolkien fans are getting together, so again, not sure you'd want that. Just thought I'd respond, since I'm an LA Lostkateer (great name, btw)

yukailin - actually, I'm also a LOTR geek and I'm staying in West Hollywood, so I might see you there. If you spot a guy in his forties with glasses and a goatee, it might be me.

LOTR geeks unite. Well, I'll be there with a big posse of local fans, so it will seem as if everyone knows everyone, which we do. There are enough events in the LA area that the same fans all seem to turn up at. Also, I'm a staffer for TheOneRing.net, so I'll most likely be wearing something that shows that affiliation (Staff shirt, or one of our Oscar Party shirts).
