Just a warning for those who don't read any promo threads and avoid my episode checklist (even though the spoilers have been hidden in the thread).

Next week, on April 22, is NO NEW EPISODE. ABC will air a clip show recap named "The Story of the Oceanic 6". The next episode is on April 29. And that will be the 100th episode of the show.

Cue all the "Hey wait why did we get a recap" threads in a week... ;)

Is it going to completely be a clip show with old footage though? I'm going to spoiler font this just in case, but it's about the preview for the 'Story of Oceanic 6.'

I thought I saw a new scene with the smoke monster in the previews, but I could be mistaken.

Okay, case in point, this season's "Destiny Calls" had a shot of the Coast Guard plane from "There's No Place Like Home, Part 1" that wasn't in the original episode (but was shown in the recap at the beginning of "Because You Left", too).

So I'd say unless there's unused shots from the dailies and deleted scenes in it, it will be your usual recap special, like "The Journey", "Destination: Lost", "Revelation", "Reckoning", "A Tale of Survival", "Survivor Guide", "Past, Present and Future", "The Answers" and "Destiny Calls" before.

Overrated promotional phrasing?

I would have sworn that the writers said there was only going to be one break this year, it was on the Offical lost podcast. anyone else remember them saying that. why do they have to alwasy do a clip show. Why can't they do a behind the scenes show like they do in the UK with doctorwho, that would be more interesting then some Clip show. someone want to create a poll on how many people are really going to watch that?

Yep. It sounds cool, but its a clip show. They've never had new stuff in a clip show. Maybe Damon and Carlton will be in it too - who knows.

I'll watch it. 'Cause I'm a sucker. Even an hour of Lost-related stuff I've already seen is better than an hour devoid of Lost entirely.

I actually don't mind the clip show. It makes the season last one week longer. :rolleyes:

I seem to always catch something "new" with the recap/clip shows ... either something I didn't see/understand clearly the first time around or something I missed completely.

Any LOST is better than no LOST!!
