OK, got a continuity problem.
In the season 4 finale, at the funeral parlor, Ben says to Jack "Did he tell you I was off the island?" referring to Locke.
Jack says "Yes he did, and..."
But Locke, am I correct, spoke nothing of Ben to Jack in that hospital room scene in "Bentham"
!?!??!??

There are numerous such problems with TLADOJB.

Good catch. They definitely didn't speak of Ben at all and in fact, judging by Jack's mood at that time, I can't see it going over well anyhow.

Wasn't Jack a horrible drug addict at that point? Not terribly reliable, I'd say. Plus, if Ben asked me that, my first instinct would be to say "Yeah... sure, of course I knew that..."

People seem to think that if it did not happen in a scene it does not happen at all. Now i understand what they say about assumption, but i believe that due to time constraints in that episode they could not show each conversation involving Locke in their entirety. I think it is possible that they left out portions of the conversations because who really wants to see Locke tell the same story 4 times over. Also members of the Oceanic 6 could have talked amongst themselves regarding their visits with Jeremy Bentham.
