We don't know yet. Presumably with the Others. Maybe off on his own. We'll either have him with the Others or Kate and Jack will find him. I'm guessing.

He's probably found Bernard and Rose by now along with the rest of the Losties who walk into the Jungle and are never seen or heard from until the next season...

He went all Obi-Wan out in the jungle, living as a hermit scaring off tusken raiders.

I suspect he checked out the beach camp and found the remaining 815ers, although why Sawyer couldn't find them in three years is a mystery.

I dont see Sayid forming partnerships with anyone besides the 815ers.

My take on that is Sayid after he shot young Ben, wandered in the jungle. I don't think he found the Others and joined them(How would he explain himself to them anyway??). He might meet Jack and Kate and join them.

I think he might have gone to be a hermit in the caves. It is a reliable water source, isolated from the main pockets of activity on the island. That, or the Others caught him.

Maybe staking out the comms station (where Mikhail installed himself after the purge). Sayid's not happy unless he's fiddling around with electronics equipment.

I really want to see Sayid reunited with the other Lostaways again. I think he's been surviving solo in the jungle. He's got the skills to do well, and until he can sort thru all the built-up angst over being an assasin for 3 yrs and killing the kid version of his monster/manipulater boss, he'll hopefully find a way to forgive himself and re-join the group to survive whatever it is that's coming. I have a feeling they're gonna need each other.

I think that he made his way back to the beach, found Rose and Bernard and VINCENT there and they are living off the land, they have all mastered boar-hunting and mago-picking. Perhaps they live in the caves together. Oh, and Sayid is all McGuyver-like and is making weapons out of reeds and salt water and he is putting together an internet connection from twine and papaya seeds and powering it with energy gained from the flow of moving water.

I wonder how long the Others kept hold of Ben before giving him back to the DI.

I agree, I think they are going to need each other. I look forward to seeing them back together again, even if it will probably take great adversity for them to come together.

I'm thinking that Rose, Bernard and the other 815ers were brought in by the Others/Hostiles, or, at the very least, by another group not yet introduced. I only say this because we know Sawyer and Jin have actively been looking for the rest of their people, searching different "grids" around the parts of the island they can tread on. Either this, or they established a camp where the DI can't go to; if this is the case, I'm SURE that Rose and Bernard and co. have met the Others/Hostiles and have had interactions with them, perhaps a symbiotic relationship (shelter and food for information about the future?) Sayid runs into this camp most likely, since I can't see his story progressing anywhere else that would be conducive for the next season.

The 815 beach camp has never been part of Dharma territory, so I doubt Sawyer could search there.
