Sawyer lets Dan and Miles in, but first grabs a gun. He is paranoid because he can't tell who is there. Later Crapzinsky and his gang show up with guns, and he just lets them right on in. Why wasn't there a peephole in the door? He could have seen who it was, and ran out the backdoor.... (or at least stalled)

I want to know who gave Radzinsky all these guns and apparently deputized him to go around and police people. I mean... that's Sawyers job right?
Radzinsky, as far as we know, is just a paranoid scientist who is designing the Swan. Now all of a sudden he's Sheriff Lobo.

The first thing I said when Sawyer flung open the door: "They don't have peepholes?"

The doors in the DHARMA complex may not have had peepholes, so that when someone knocked on your door, you had to open it to see who was there. Or be creepy and peer through the window. It could be a tactic that DHARMA could have used to breed trust in their little compound.
