This was pretty obvious, but since I didn't see anyone else bring it up, I thought I'd mention it. The map drawn on the blast door in season 2 came from the map that Sawyer was forced to draw in this episode. Thoughts?

Sawyer was drawing a map of where exactly the Hostiles where not of the locations of the Dharma Stations.

Interesting connection. If true, that's pretty cool that they tied that in there.

Could have been used to structure his map, but not entirely sure that Sawyer would draw up the hatches as geographical landmarks.

Yeah, I realize that, but he could be drawing the stations to give some scale. To be honest, I don't really remember what the map looked like or even if it had the others' location on it and I'm too lazy to look for a screencap. Just thought I'd throw that out there since Radzinsky was the one asking for the map and it's Radzinsky who draws the map later on the blast door.

That is what I thought immediately. Great connection if it turns out that way!

Well yes, but who's to say that Sawyer didn't embellish enough that it became the genesis of Radzinsky's blast door map? :eek2:

I'd think that Radzinsky has a better idea of the island's geography than Sawyer. Sawyer was merely mapping the location of the temple.

That's an interesting thought Alexer. It would make sense to draw the map using known Dharma reference points for scale. I'd be disappointed in Sawyer though if he didn't 'fudge' accuracy in making his map. He only needs to buy time for he and Juliette, and buying them safety by leading death to a group of other people -, well that's really bad karma!!
