I'm not sure if I hallucinated it or not, but at the end of one of the scenes, right before a commercial break (didn't look at the clock, so not sure when it was), the scene ended with the sound of a camera flash. Then there was a really strange "commercial" showing a bunch of flashes of pictures, and ended with "What did you see?" supered across the screen. Then there was a local news update and the commercial break was over.
Did anyone else catch this, and does it have something to do with Lost a la the Hanso commercials that played a couple seasons back?
Or did I imagine the entire thing? I dont' have TiVo or anything so I can't go back and check.

It's a viral marketing campaign for a new ABC show called Flash Forward.

I don't remember hearing the sound of a camera flash, but I definitely saw that commercial with the flashes. My friend and I looked at each other when "What did you see" flashed up, and we both said "kangaroo". Neither of us had paid too much attention to it.

Yeah it's viral promo for an upcoming ABC show called "Flash Forward"
They aired some things for it during last week's episode too.
There's a website associated with it... mosaicgroup.com or something
kind of like a LOST ARG from what I can tell

Sounds interesting!
"The show is based on Robert J. Sawyer's novel and follows the fallout from a cataclysm in which the world's entire population blacks out for just over two minutes. In addition to dealing with the chaos that ensues when everyone wakes up -- everything from car crashes to people walking off rooftops -- people soon come to realize that they all had a vision of their futures. The network says that those investigating the event will have only "a huge mosaic of people's flash forwards" to go on -- hence the Mosaic Collective title for the aforementioned site."

Yeah, and I remember the commercial saying something like "just because you remember it doesn't mean it has to happen..." It spooked me because that sounds like Jack's line of thinking right about now on the show, or at least his hope.

Marketing for the new show Flashforward which is set to air this fall, I believe.
The book is brilliant.

Oh, thanks. The part that caught my attention was the camera flash I heard at the end of the scene, so that pricked up my ears for when the actual commercial came on. Sounds interesing, though.

Thanks for bringing this up. I thought that commercial extremely odd myself, and with Lost coming into its final episodes of the season...
Flash Forward sounds like a fun show.
