He's got to be wondering what the heck is going on. He's going to go home and it's either not going to be his home or he's already going to be there.

Oh, he died on impact. Never mind.

Yeah, he's better off dead. It would have sucked for him had he lived.

Very true, they would have put him in Walter's old room at the booby hatch.
Actually, what impact could he have suffered? He didn't hit anything, he just lost his backside. Ah well, I guess they needed him to die.

I presume he was killed by the instability of the 'Deja Vu' window.

I could buy that if the front of the truck got smashed, but it was fine.

Hehe. Not the truck window. The interdimensional window. From what I understand, the portal has to be stable to allow biological matter to go through safely, hence their search for the perfect "Soft Spot". Otherwise, they die. Obviously, other matter can travel through alright, but living beings seem to be a different story, otherwise Jones could have quickly slipped through while the window was open in the other two soft spots.

Oh, gotcha. So he didn't really die on impact, just died from going through it?

yeah, makes sense to me that he died on "impact" with the window
