It's just a splash-page at this point. The other site you were thinking of is probably The Mosaic Collective (http://www.themosaiccollective.com/), there is a thread (http://forum.redpandaresources.com/showthread.php?t=115490) following that as well.
Though it looks like for now Truth Hack (http://truthhack.com/) is the major 'in universe' info source, and yes we have a thread (http://forum.redpandaresources.com/showthread.php?t=115553) for that ;)

Any glitches (as opposed to flashforwards mind you, hee) will be explained by the "beta" tag on the logo in the upper left corner. Either that, or the enigmatic "beta" from ABC's Defying Gravity has decided to hide there, in pixel form (groan...).:rolleyes:

Sam, if you are already a member of ABC boards just input your existing membership info. That might be what is going on. With me, I tried to sign up but they said my email was already in use. So I just logged in with my ABC discussion boards data and it worked. I'm not sure if that will be the solution in your case though.

There is one "staged" video in the "Mosaic Stories" area. Rather than the Comic-Con/YT vids, this is more like Oscar Obregon. Of course, we all know Oscar is real though. :biggrin:

Sam if you are reg'd on the ABC/Go boards/sites input the e-mail address you reg'd w/ as your member name and then put in your password.

Now this is the point at which I had a problem. I use a cookie blocker, it's set to globally deny cookies unless I put the site on a 'whitelist'. I had previously reg'd with the ABC/Go, but have since re-loaded my browser so they were no long on the whitelist. After accepting my email/pasword the site asks for a username to use in the future, I tried and tried but none of the usernames I tried were deemed valid. So I when to ABC/Go and then placed them on the whitelist and bingo! mosaic accepted my username.

I went yesterday and signed up, put in my little 130 character FF and then they asked for more details :D I got another 1000 characters to describe my FF :biggrin: anyone else get this?

Doh! Pop-up blocker. I'm in. I was able to sign in with my ABC account, no problem.

If so, yes I did. A friend of mine did not however. So I'm thinking that it may be dependent on the 'tags' that they allow you edit/add that triggers (in some way) the request for extra info. Not sure though...

I should go check the site, the message I got after inputting the expanded FF said something like (I don't recall the exact wording) my FF was being reviewed and if appropriate it would be added to the mosaic.

Yeah, that. I'm kind of wondering if it's random? I tried to make mine as interesting as possible (there was a guy! and he was breaking into my house!), but it would take less effort to do it randomly than it would to actually look for something...

I got the same message too, that it was being reviewed, and it hasn't shown up on the map yet.

I expect for it to always take a while before they will be added. This way they can make sure no-one adds anything inappropriate.

Sam, the FlashForward Augmented Reality v-clip just above is quite cool. Thanks for digging that one up. I've made it one of my favs at YT. It really shouldn't be too long and all sorts of tricks will be part of our media experience. 3D, interactive television and movies, etc. The networks will be jumping on these "tech-tricks" to enhance the entertainment and draw us in more.

When I saw the computer towers I was pretty sure that they were inside of the tanks. To be 100% about it I grabbed a capture image that showed the power supply with bubbles coming out of the exhaust fan grill. When I saw the 102 preview it showed a second tank.

I think it sucks that they started embedding JoinTheMosaic.com inside the ABC site. It really detracts from the whole "alternate reality-ness" of it.

Also, it would be cool if they updated that site with input from characters in the show, ie Demetri and Janis' posts to the site we saw in the last episode.
