I believe they are. First Walt and Vincent, then Locke (or maybe Locke was first...ah well, the order isn't important), then Jack, Charlie, etc... they all kind of 'owe' something to the place now. Claire's baby is another one. I have a theory that the baby belongs to the island now, because when Jin gave Claire one bite of the sea urchin, her baby immediately started moving, when it hadn't for 2 days.

Can any of you kind and oh so talented gentlemen shed any light on this? Am I way off-base? And shouldn't she be having that kid any time now?

(By the way, I love Claire. I think she is just the sweetest thing. I hope she doesn't turn into 'the evil bitch-monster from hell' ...)
