Hello everyone. This is Jeff Betancourt, co-producer of FLASH FORWARD. I'm excited to see that this board exists and that there is already so much interest in the show.

What a whirlwind the last six months have been! In February, photography for the pilot was just getting started. Everyone was excited to see what was going to happen and we believed we were involved in something very special.

Flashforward to today, August 16th, and everyone involved in the series is thrilled with how the pilot came out and cannot wait for you all to see it. We're wrapping up the editing in the second episode this week and it's an amazing follow up.

A brief few words about who I am and what I do. I've been editing feature films for a few years now. My work runs from indie movies like THE GOOD GIRL, to comedies like HAROLD AND KUMAR, to horror movies like THE GRUDGE and EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE.

People often ask what the difference is between editing feature films and series television. I really enjoy both but the biggest difference is SPEED. Television moves very quickly... it's like a sprint compared to the marathon race of a feature film.

Why make the transition from features to television? To be honest, I don't see a big difference in terms of the content. I am drawn to projects that have great story telling and David Goyer is one of the best. We had a great time editing THE UNBORN and I really look forward working with him as the series progresses. You add Marc Guggenheim to the mix and all our other great writers and it's literally an offer I could not refuse. (Plus, David promised to tell me who plays EGGHEAD and KING TUT in the next Batman movie if I stick with the show long enough)

I expect people to read boards like this and think we're only saying great things about the show because we HAVE to. Believe me, I wouldn't be on here if I wasn't excited about the show and excited to share my experiences with you guys!

Can't wait for the episodes to start airing. We've got a great year ahead of us.

In the coming days I'll tell you more about post production on the show and some of the other talented people involved.

Well, I'm off to check out DISTRICT 9. Is it is good as everyone says it is??

(PS - I was kidding about EGGHEAD and KING TUT being in Batman. Everyone knows the next villains are going to be CHANDELL and LOUIE THE LILAC)
