kudos to hoyt. i loved it when he told his momma in the kitchen that he would move out if she didn't accept jessica, and then he took the grilled cheese. funny stuff. he is so sweet. and what a blessing for them that each time they have sex it's like the very first time.

did i mention that ERIK WAS NAKID!!!!!

the scene between sookie and jason was very nice. and them watching steve and sarah on TV was hysterical.

i'm only halfway through but i'm thrilled about the upswing of lafayette's screen time. the dude is a must. i just wish that tara would wake up. how many times does she have to wake up and say, "i've never been this much out of control!!! i don't wanna be blackin' out". ok, tara, if you don't wanna be blackin' out then DO something about it. especially when marianne gives these strange examples and excuses. just kind of stupid.

and why does nobody wonder where the hell sam is? if they know he's in jail, why do they not bail him out. the guy's got enough money stashed in his bar!:eek2:

so, i watched the rest of it, and it feels like i'm watching a movie. it just has so much story each hour!

lafayette is back, and he's my hero! i loved his scenes in the bar and then in sookie's house. i wonder if his own ability was behind him kicking eggs' butt or if marianne wanted him to do it. i wish someone beats tara's bum too!

wasn't it quite funny that sam showed up at andy's motel stark naked, and andy didn't bat an eye. i just know that andy is going to become a hero here pretty soon!:clapping:

the final scene much deserves an emmy! the way it was shot and how godric burned, it was wonderfully done. i am so sad that he is gone, but for the actor's sake, it was well worth it. poor sookie is taking charge of all these vampire's trials and tribulations, and she did so well too in that scene. poor erik! i hope sookie takes good care of him.....in bed. and please, don't leave anything out!:p

i can't believe there are only three more episodes left. i miss it already!

i know! it was so horrible. i loved it though when he said that in 2,000 yrs, he never would have imagined that a human would be with him in the end....and her crying he felt close to God. wonderfully, wonderfully written. he was very hot. and then when he took his shirt off, you really couldn't feel sorry for him. he wanted to die. i thought it was so touching how erik cried for him. and oh yeah......

Funny tho... remember a few weeks ago, I said that I bet Godric allowed the Fellowship to capture him because he was bored with his existence and wanted some fun. Well, his intentions were a bit differently but I really wasn't spoiled or anything! I was only speculating!

Oh and I thought it was interesting (and here comes the Vamp nerd again) that he burned more quickly because of his old age as a vampire! In most other Vampire verses it's the other way around! The older the vampire gets, the stronger and less "vulnerable" he becomes. The old vampires in the Anne Rice novels merely got a bit of a sunburn when they walked into the sun.

Bill lasted quite long in the sun last season whereas Godric just went poof, kinda.

I'm sad that he's gone. :( He was so hawt... and cute... did you see? Albeit his white vampire make-up there was still a blush one his cheeks. :wub: Can we have Godric flashbacks, please?

Other than that... gawd I'm so glad that Lafayette finally took action and got Tara out of there. I wonder why he and Tara's mom aren't affected by Maryann? (Or was this explained and I missed it?)

I'm still all for BilliSoo... I think Eric is fun and quite hawt but he helpless romantic in me wants Bill and Sookie to be together forever and ever.

And I was spoiled by a "friend", so no need to tell me that that's not gonna happen... *sigh*

Oh and btw was I the only one who thought it was kinda funny that Eric kneeling in front of Godric was still almost as tall as him? :24: How tall IS that guy? :24:

I felt so horrible for Jessica when Hoyts mom mentioned that she cant have kids. Thats just one thing you cant say to a woman, it hurts you down to the core. Momma Hoyt needs to take a happy pill and stop hating the world!

i've known women like mama hoyt! they are terribly lonely inside. but it was funny when he was listing all the things she "hates"! and did you catch the sammich she was making hoyt? toasted cheese with fritos crunched into it!:biggrin:

Oh gosh that grilled cheeeez looked delicious, but the most delicious dish of the night was still Eric. I was just cracking up as Sookie was sucking out the bullet and he was smiling. Fingers crossed that she has more dreams:yes:

you know, contrary to what everyone might believe, i've never been this excited about seeing someone naked on TV before! that man is so sexy that it drives me nuts. i watch it with my 16 yr old son and scream throughout it. i scream when lafayette is killing me, and we both love andy and terry, but even when eric comes onscreen, i say, OMG!!!!! he is soooo hot! he just laughs. i mean anyone could see that he is a god! tall, blonde and not-tan! mmm mmm mmm!

now, if i could just take sookie's place!

I finally watched the episode this morning, my sister in law told me I was gonna love it and ohhhh boy i did. Too bad he wasnt crying and begging me.."PLEASE CHRISTINA! DONT LEAVE ME! " haha

you know, we have to remember that she was dreaming! i can't imagine what it will be like when they really do it. sookie and bill have had some steamy love scenes. i can't stand to even imagine it! but did you see how angry bill was when they were all together before godric died? he could see that sookie was into eric. and then he pops eric when he's all worried about his maker. didnt like that. but eric took it as a confidence boost, didn't he? and then sookie offers to go and stay with eric and godric. poor bill. he's toast!

and it's not that i don't like bill. it's just....that....eric's....hotter!

I just loved how confident Eric is about winning over Sookie! He knows how to irritate Bill, just smile back at him while hes angry. I think Bill is gonna have to face the music real soon, Sookie is moving on to bigger and better things:biggrin:

When Sookie and Eric do it for real, I think my tv will explode. I hope it happens this season, I would hate to be waiting months to see that!

Cheers to a well-acted, emotional episode of True Blood. Watching 2,000-year-old vampire Godric (Allan Hyde) choose to commit vampire suicide by "meeting the sun" was truly heart-wrenching. Alan Ball and Co. have brought to life a scene from the books and made it their own. Godric's character, though with us for all too short a time, will be missed--Rhiannon Reed, Kimberly, Ws.

Allan Hyde really is a remarkable young actor... He made such an impression in such a short time.. Very impressive.

i wanted MORE Godric. seriously, there was a lot more backstory to this character. i was really intrigued with Eric's loyalty to him. i wanna see bits of their sire/child relationship and how it evolved over time. why do they always kill off the characters i find interesting?

yes, that Eric/Sookie scene was hot. i am a bit bored with Bill/Sookie at the moment. i like Jessica/Hoyt a lot more. :71:
