Ahasuerus 10-16-2009, 08:29 AM Overall, I thought it was interesting. I like the continuation of Yoda-Guru Sam Weiss and the business card bit, and Anna is doing a really good job of portraying the aftermath of the Evil-Charlie situation. Walter's actions, showing that the impulse to throw ethical treatment of subjects out the window and Asteroid's relationship with him was handled well. I'm happy to see that his transition from asylum to the real world is not going to be a simple matter, that they're not going with an easy fix to that. It was a nice, change of pace, reflection after a heavier epsisode. It's a nice balance than running everything a mile a minute. I think good storytelling does that, provides the negative space in addition to the active space in the story. Briolette 10-16-2009, 10:57 AM Heehee. Yes, a very nice and relaxing episode... tho' the boogie eyes freaked me out! Loving Walter and Astrid... And I loved that it was the damp and the smell that reminded him of Saint Claire's -- smell is a particularly strong trigger of memory. Loving Walter and Astrid...Yes, absolutely! I love that she seems to be developing a real fondness for him, even through all they've been through -- she almost seemed amused by him at times in this ep. I wonder if his finally having gotten her first name right to her face had anything to do with establishing that connection. Also, he's been calling her "Agent Farnsworth" lately, too. It seems very respectful, and perhaps she appreciates that. LostLaura 10-17-2009, 09:24 PM I like their relationship as well. What I am liking the most is the bits and pieces we are getting about the history of Peter. Like his lack of dreams -- the nightmares he had as a child (which I think we are meant to know where a direct correlation to him being taken from the other world). The nightmare that we saw appears to have been, based on the Challenger date (and the creepiness of Walter in the mirror -- and Peter's scream), the night that Peter was taken. I am also really liking Liv and Sam. I love Kevin Corrigan as Sam. I don't really know him from much, although apparently I saw him in The Departed. But he has a familiar face, that's for sure. tonya77seven 10-23-2009, 12:44 PM I like their relationship as well.
