Am I really the only one or have those fed up with this show already bailed entirely? I think this four month break will be good for me.

Way too much stupidity going on, with Mark fighting hard to take the crown. The whole Hong Kong story was ludicrous and although I rack my brain I can't come up with a valid reason for Dylan to still be in the hospital after all these weeks. He looks completely healthy, he walked to the Benford's house on Halloween. Why does he even need a transfer to another hospital at this point as opposed to a discharge??

But Mark throwing the table, holding an armed hostage standoff and setting off an international incident for no apparent reason and then getting to walk because the CIA fixed it with China? What planet is this taking place on? Must be an alternate reality because this show is appearing more and more surreal.

Oh, and I love how they found her -- The linguistics expert said she's "Persian", therefore she must frequent this here "Persian" restaurant in Hong Kong. And of course the proprietor recognises her by her voice because all "Persian" people know each other. Very politically correct, show. *sneer* And I know Persian is the ethnicity but they're Iranians.

And I don't recognise Janis or Olivia. Janis who had no interest in children suddenly wants to get pregnant more than ever? Olivia who was petrified of Lloyd is now chatting him up and flirting? I just don't get what's going on in anyone's heads.

It's getting harder and harder to make excuses each week, but I so wish the writing would improve. And kill Mark, please.

Altho I loved the episode (especially after the last 2 I didn't like at all), and posted in the "Love it" thread, I still added and explained my own reservations about Mark's character.

Hmmmm...........while still hold hope from the program I'm beginning to think the GBO caused major brain damage in the "rational thinking" portion of everyone's brain. Everone has just taken the Ff as "gospel" and no one seems to think that it could all be just something their subconcious came up with. Geez people.

There were parts of this episode that I liked and there were parts I really disliked. The Press Conference really bothered me. I seems like Mark is getting more and more irrational and a character not too many people would be be sad to see go.

Wonder if Mark is the one that broke into the FBI to take a look at his Mosaic Board and Mark would be the mole a la Memento (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Memento_(film)).

Dittos.

Let's see if I understand this... during the news conference when Lloyd confesses to being a part of the blackout, the camera shows the hospital staff and what? no reaction from them. I would have thought that they of all people would have cried out, "Hey, that's Dylan's father." or "Hey, it's that guy."

And no show of surprise from Olivia, Janis, Mark, Dem or anyone else who knew him. That's not believable even in this show.

But, on the bright side, the producers and the writers of this show have taught me something; that the previews are not worth watching because when the previews are put into their context, they are rather lame.

So I don't have to worry about watching them anymore. That means I don't have to rush to the kitchen for more goodies between shows. Now I can just take my time. And I feel good about that. ; )

I just started a thread about Mark being the worst FBI agent I have ever seen! And this episode was the one that threw me over the edge! These people have absolutely no reasonable emotions or reactions. Yea, Dylan is in the hospital, but got dressed up to go trick or treating? Did they have his mother's funeral? Who arranged it? Did Lloyd go? Did his mother have NO kin at all that would at least want to see him? If Lloyd admitted to "possibly" causing the global black out, do we really think the FBI would simply want to "talk" to him?

I was actually angry with the fact Mark stayed on in Hong Kong instead of flying back home when he heard Lloyd's press conference. Dude - this guy just admitted to being a CENTRAL part of your investigation. This also "happens" to be the guy your wife was sleeping with in her flash forward. This also happens to be the father of the little boy that walked into your house saying "I live here too", but you have NO sense of urgency to get home and protect your wife and child. No phone call saying "Olivia, stay away from that man, something is not right".

Olivia is not angry at all that Lloyd kept this information from her? Hey, didn't he cause a guy YOU were operating on to die on the table? That alone should earn him a big, fat slap across the face.

Why would Lloyd try to move Dylan AFTER the press conference? Why not have a family member take him to a new location, then do your big speech? Now you care about your son? After you have the entire planet on a man hunt for you?

I already had a negative view of this ep but most of the things you mentioned I hadn't even thought of previously. I'll probably stick with the show...I mean, heck, I'm still watching Heroes even though I loathe every. waking. minute of it.

This show has imagination. This show has a good cast. It has a good overarching plot. But what it has in imagination it lacks in common sense and logic.

That's not a good tradeoff in my book.

As for Mark, I actually really enjoyed his sticking-it-to-the-man. Wedeck has been acting like a jerk. But like I said in my rate-post, once he turned the table over my enjoyment was toppled with the table.
