I just saw "the journey" Did anyone notice that when someone is close to death, or dies, ie. Charile getting hung, Boone dying. That this song is played, the life taken life given song, that was the song played at the end of "do no harm" I thought that was interesting.

I'm such a loser. I don't even HEAR music during this show. I'm too busy trying to collect clues, watching background details, listening for whispers! For all I know, they don't even play music! :lol2:

Bunches of other people Jack couldn't triage on the beach...

The only time it was played was during Boone's death scene and Charlie's almost-death scene.

I'm sure it's something written specifically for Lost.. I like to call it the "Sad-things-are-happening-in-Lost" music. They play variations of it whenever something sad happens.

This has been discussed, at length, in the thread on this piece (http://www.thefuselage.com/threaded/index.php?topic=12390.0) over in Do No Harm.

they've used this song in other instances before, not just death moments. But I'm pretty sure that I've only ever heard it in Jack's episodes, although I'm not quite positive. I'm too lazy to go back through all the episodes and watch them just for this song, but I know it's been in there more than two times.
