I found it very interesting that Peter did not remember his dreams from age 8-19 due to Walter's 'help'. Then when we see his nightmare it seems more like a memory than a nightmare. We were clued in last season that Walter had done something to Peter when he was a boy, maybe his dream shows us just a quick shot of what it was.

I'm thinking that memory was "over-there" Peter being multiverse-napped by Walter.
