Since I'm still undecided so I'd like to ask you which version of "LOST: The Complete Fifth Season" did / will you buy and what are your reasons for your choice?
1. the regular DVD version
2. the regular DVD version plus the exclusive sixth bonus disc by HMV, JB Hi-Fi or the like
3. the special limited-edition collector's "Dharma Initiation Kit" package of the DVD version
4. the special limited-edition collector's "Dharma Initiation Kit" package of the DVD version plus the exclusive sixth bonus disc by HMV, JB Hi-Fi or the like (if possible)
5. the regular Blu-ray version
6. the regular Blu-ray version plus the exclusive sixth bonus disc by HMV, JB Hi-Fi or the like (if possible)

Each version has advantages as well as disadvantages so it's tough for me to pick one. Help me, please! :smile:

I have the regular set with bonus disc from JB Hi-Fi. Blu Ray is alot were I live, they sell season 1 and 2 for $105.

I'm going to just wait and buy the complete series on blu-ray.

If it was up to me, though, I just might hold out until after the series is over before making purchasing decisions.

Same here ... I'd love to take part in "LOST University" but I don't think I'll be able to afford the Blu-ray just for this feature.

I'm going to just wait and buy the complete series on blu-ray.
That's what I'd love to do myself. Here's hoping it'll be a truly complete definite edition featuring ALL the bonus features that have ever been released - plus a few new ones exclusive to this release! :smile:

Maybe one of the mods can still add this? Do you happen to know who I might bother about this (The list at http://forum.thefuselage.com/showgroups.php is very long ...)? I also would like to have that annoying "^" at the beginning of the sixth option removed. It's so embarrassing!

I'll buy the complete set when it comes out, cuz i'm sure it'll be a slick lookin boxset. I'll probably keep the old ones...when people ask to borrow Lost they can have that set.... so it can be the loaner copy. :)

i bought the regular blu ray version but would have eagerly picked up the di orientation kit if they had offered the regular packaging inside so i could fit it with the other four seasons. a friend has the kit and gave me his swan patch.

I got the Blue-Ray for my Birthday on 12/8
couldn't have been happier

Till now i have the blu-ray, the DVD (included in Season 1-5 box set) and the dharma orientation kit DVD version of season 5. Just dharma kit blu-ray and german DVD are still missing.;)

Because of the gyp of putting Lost University only on Blu-Ray, I made sure to get Season 5 used, whereas I would've picked it up new at Target like I had the previous 4 seasons. If they can get cute, so can I. :biggrin:
