The seed has been planted. Astrid has to look into what Walter meant about not letting Peter die 'again'. D'oh! I don't want it to happen, though I do because it's going to be awesome tv. I wonder if it'll go down this season or if we have to wait until next season for the full kerfuffle. Exciting stuff!

Walter: Ash
Astrid: Astrid
Walter: No, ash.

That statement was HUGE. It's obvious we don't have that many Fringe fans posting here yet for the season, because I would have expected the board to be blowing up with a statement like that.

This part:
Walter: Ash
Astrid: Astrid
Walter: No, ash. This is an example of why you should never get up while watching a TV show, you miss important stuff. :)

Get up? I'm happy if I can stay awake through the whole show. I do miss being a night person.

I was actually waiting for Walter to charge Peter saying "Here, I'm going to inject you with this horseradish!".

And do you just love that it's Astrid who was the recipient of that statement? Not Olivia, not Broyles, but our dear little Astrid, who was so long lacking in character development! I love how that's changed.

I loved how she was willing to stay in the building with Walter. "We'll be fine". AW!

Yeah, it's going to be huge now that one person knows. And it's extra exciting because Astrid and Walter have just built up this great relationship (they go to the Children's Science [fictitious] museum together, awww!). And now she knows something seeerious is going on in Peter's past. It's going to cause a rift. It'll be great to see how it goes down.

re: madge: It wasn't just Astrid staying for Walter (and Peter). Liv goes back in because of them. Broyles begs/demands for an extension b/c the people are "like family." They were all supporting each other and making sacrifices. Except for Peter, who attempted to kill Liv. heh. But, he wasn't himself, as she said. ;)
(Although at first when he reversed the cotton swab, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought that he was doing it to spare Walter from realizing that his son was infected. And also to spare Olivia. I thought that when Peter would reach the door, he'd let Liv walk out and then close the doors behind him. Like maybe he'd think she'd stay behind to be with him if she knew he was infected. And... then I was totally wrong, and it turns out he was trying to sneak out to infect people.)
