Now, this is a long shot. But as most of you may remember, there is a question that still remains unanswered (along with many others) who were the two dead bodies in the caves? (the islands Adam and Eve) and why did they have a satchel with a black and a white stone?

My theory is that they are the parents of Jacob and Smokey, making them brothers.
I come to this conclusion because of the black and white stones, as it seems to be a running theme through the show of Good vs Evil. Jacob wearing the white robes, Smokey wearing the black robes.

Any thoughts?

Depends which way you want to go with your thinking, I suppose. It would be interesting if that was the direction the writers wanted to go, but something tells me it is more broad than that. Interesting idea, though.

I think we're going to expect a flashback from either smokey or jacob in this series, which will answer a whole load of questions!

Also coming back to the whole black and white/ good and evil. Remember in the first season, Locke comes face to face with the monster. (POV from monsters eyes)

and in the second season Locke says to Eko, something along the lines of 'It was like a beautiful white light'
and Eko replys 'that's not what I saw'

I think Jacob has/had the ability to appear as a white form of smoke. and Man in black obivously forms the black smoke (what we're lead to beileve anyway...)

An we know the black smoke shape shifts in to people, mainly for bad reasons. I.E. Nemy (Ekos Brother) ''You talk to me like I am your brother'' and also 'New Locke'

But what about all the times a figure has appeared and actually helped the character? Could that have been Jacob in white smoke form?

Cant say I'd be happy with that as an explanation for Adam & Eve. They just dont seem like they've been there long enough.

I thought that Adam and Eve have only been there for 40-50 years? 1954-1964.
