TV GUIDE (http://www.tvguide.com/News/FlashForward-Names-New-1014878.aspx?rss=breakingnews) has the news on the new showrunners for FlashForward of Jessika Borsiczky, Lisa Zwerling and Tim Lea. I wish them well on their new responsibilities. :sHa_clap4:

I've got no idea who any of these people are.

Any ideas on how it might impact the show?

Having Jessika on it is good. She was in on this from the start as if I remember correctly she read the book and then suggested that David should pursue a project like a feature film or a series. She is David's "better half" and was involved in the casting of the characters and other elements and is already an Executive Producer and I know she has as good a grasp on the show as any person could. Lisa and Tim are head co-writers and also should know what direction the show is heading in advance. Remember that it was story-boarded in advance to go one or three or more seasons.

No way it's going to get a second season Mosaic, the episode order was just reduced again to 22, i just hope these new show runners can manage to turn the shown into a suitable at home DVD Marathon type event - the type of thing you could finish over a long weekend. It just doesn't work as weekly 1 hour show imho

I'm agreed that the series is bleeding viewers. The numbers are showing it. It might get a season renewal if the numbers come up after the series' return and some CPR (major promotion) by the network. This is what I suspect will happen. Rather than lose their current investment in the series which is not small I think the network will double-down and push it. We haven't seen any of the episodes past the ten so far aired so the show's fate will be resting on what is mostly "in the can" already on the back half of the season.

It seems cryptic to me that the last episode of this season will have its "D-Day" occur so perhaps this series is indeed a metaplay and the D-Day meaning will break the fourth wall for us in this reality as well.
