Now that we somewhat know that Claire was claimed by the MIB.....does anyone remember how when Kate was watching over Aaron a vision of Claire appeared and told her to never bring Aaron to the island...was it for Aarons good or was it to tip the scales.

I don't think this was MIB. I'm pretty sure that he can't leave the island like Jacob was/is able to.

Then how did Jack talk to his father at the hospital when the smoke alarm went off. I'm pretty sure a smoke monster would set off a smoke alarm. :)

That conversation was to make Jack think of the island. That was Jacob manipulating Jack. MiB can't leave the island. And if Jacob can bring Locke back to life then I am pretty sure he can mess w/ a smoke alarm. :kiss:

I think they built him up to be special in season one, and he might be. But I Guess I don't see him as the key to it all. I would be pretty disappointed if that were the case, or if Jacob was somehow Aaron, or the little boy in the jungle we saw was Aaron...I don't like any of those scenarios.
