View Full Version : He's Coming!
nash-villain 03-03-2010, 12:40 AM There are obviously several "He's" coming. Claire seemed to be referring to Smokey but I noticed another tidbit.
On the Lighthouse episode we learned that number 108, "Wallace?" is also coming. Tonight, much was made of the baseball. Seeing it fall to the ground convinces Dogen to leave Sayid alive. The baseball with its 108 stitches has become in my mind a symbol of the one who is coming. The one who will restore the balance. Lostpedia has much more on 108 (including a reference to the Hindu mala prayer beads that I noticed Lennon wearing in tonight's episode).
Who is Wallace? Will we really introduce another major character in the final 10 episodes? Is the melodramatic baseball moment really about #108?

"The Lighthouse"
JACOB: Someone's coming to the island. I need you to help them find it.
Why are so many people assuming that the person that is coming is "108 Wallace"
"108 Wallace" is crossed out on the list he is no longer a candidate. There are still over 200 names that are on the dial that have not been revealed. Maybe the number is 9 (1+0+8=9).
beema 03-03-2010, 01:36 AM If trends continue, Wallace will come to the Island, say four lines of dialogue that introduce 10 new mysteries to the show, and then promptly be killed.

I am making that assumption because Jacob asked them to turn the dial in the Lighthouse to 108. I assumed that meant, regardless of who crossed out what names on what list (cave ceiling/dial), that the person at 108 degrees was coming and would get to the island somehow even without being drawn by the lighthouse.

LOL, classic. But I shouldn't laugh, because this just may happen!
Seriously, this 108 stuff is a red herring at best. Jacob acted like he could care less about him/her arriving. He just needed a number that would force Jack to move the dial past his name.

My father used to always say "if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all". Almost every post of yours lately has been bashing the show. If you don't like where it's going, don't watch it, but your negative comments are really annoying.

But that's what we love about our dear Beema...
phorkster 03-03-2010, 04:35 PM Dogen didn't kill Sayid because he isn't allowed to. Its why he asked Jack to poison him, and why he sent Sayid after the MiB.
morodrim 03-03-2010, 04:42 PM guaranteed it'll be some dude from scotland with a painted white and blue face..all pissed off that someone killed his homey jacob. heads are gonna roll when gets there. True Story.

I thought it was a pretty funny and topical joke. Guess we have different senses of humor.
