So, the more I've seen of this season, the more the use of the "Last Supper" pictures makes sense.

Most of the Temple Others running away over news that Jacob died? Richard's frustration and anger at the thought that spending so much time following Jacob had possibly been a complete waste in light of the fact that Jacob was killed?

Seems a lot like Jesus' disciples scattering (with the exception of John, admittedly) after his execution. Jeff Jensen has likened Jacob's death to the "Good Friday" on Lost...we've only had barely over 24hrs since and that leaves us in those middle days before a "resurrection" - possibly the 'new' Jacob (the chosen candidate)?

Three (http://www.aceshowbiz.com/images/news/00030158.jpg)

And of course the 'sides' that are more clear now....
Claire, Sayid, Sawyer, and Kate are all currently with FLocke
Jack, Sun, Hurley, Ben, Miles, Frank are with "Team Jacob"

The big questions are the flip floppers. Jacob and Ilana on the FLocke's side in all pics?
Miles/Claire changing sides in the second pic?
Jin is currently with FLocke... but in all the pics he's on the "Jacob" side.

in light of the fact that Jacob was killed?

See, I don't think it was really because of this. I think it was in light of the fact that Jacob hasn't been telling Richard ANYTHING. Richard devoted his life to Jacob on the promise that there would be meaning to it, and that Jacob would shed some light on its importance. Then he runs into the MIB, and gets informed that Jacob has this grand candidate scheme that Richard was never told about. So he's like, "I've been working for Jacob all this time, and I didn't even know what it was for, and Jacob never thought enough of me to fill me in on the purpose of it all."

So what the heck is Miles doing in that first picture? It looks like he's grabbing Lapidus's butt.

Even more importantly at this point, why is Illana on Flocke's side. While she might have been disillusioned in the past (witness her forgiveness of Ben), she seems, right now, to be planted solidly on Jacob's side!
Richard is interesting too because it seems that Jack helped him over his crisis but that may not be the case.
That middle pic has Claire on Jacob's side and Miles on Flocke's side and that doesn't make any sense at all to me.

I agree. I guess I meant that Jacob was killed and therefore Richard never got any of those answers or meaning that Jacob had been seemingly promising to give him for forever. Now that Jacob's gone, Richard figures its all over and everything he did was for nothing and all Jacob did was keep him in the dark.

I'm thinking if anything happens to llana and Richard and they die that they will be infected and on Locke's side...

At this point, I'm thinking this is the only way Ilana and Richard would be on Flocke's side. Even beaten up, batter, bruised and feeling misused, Richard didn't try to find Flocke.

Am I the only one who thinks that the picture won't exactly tie into the show?

perhaps it's 3 different timelines.

I second that..kinda...i think its a creative marketing idea..I'm pretty sure it will tie in some way or another, but I don't think it's something major.

I don't understand the sides thing. People refer to Jacob's side and Flocke's side. If the picture is to be taken literally, someone on the so-called Flocke side will betray him in the end. Is that what Lost will come down to, the betrayal of evil incarnate and his eventual ressurection?
