Egon Spengler: If Dickless here hadn't gone and shut down the power grid, none of this would be happening right now!
Atherton: They caused the explosion!
Mayor: Is this true?
Peter Venkman: Yes, it's true... this man has no dick.

Yeah, over the summer, Carlton Cuse tweated this: "Damon and I are die hard fans of this impeckable actor who keeps the barr high and just signed to guest star on the show. Life is good!"
he was in Die Hard, in Ghostbusters he was Peck, and in Despearate Housewives (?) he was Dr. Barr.

Pardon my brain fart, but who did William Atherton play in the Dr. Linus episode?

The principal. Yeah, he's gotten old.
He was also in Real Genius with Ben's dad.

Wow. The add on this page was for Myteespot.com. They were all pics of ghost busters shirts. Creepy right? That is some serious "lost s***"

The guy looks exactly the same to me. He's also the dick teacher from Real Genius. An underrated movie. And Clovis from Sugarland Express. A great early Spielberg movie, if I remember right

Yeah, first thing I said when I saw his face. Loved this guy...well, more like loved to hate him. Anything from Ghostbusters is a good thing!

I actually shouted out 'It's Walter Peck from Ghostbusters!' when he first came onscreen-best thing about this epi :)
God, he was obnoxious in GB-a great character and great moment when he meets his messy fate :)

My first reaction on seeing Atherton was to shout "Your mother!", just as Egon does in Ghostbusters. :)

I recognised him, but not from where. He's more familiar to me now I know from Die Hard. I don't think he's changed at all! and he was superb.
Before he threatened to torch Alex I was actually sympathetic to his also being subject to decisions made above his pay grade. What a nasty piece of work he turned out to be.

Good catch!
I just rewatch the trailer of Ghostbuster II and there's a boat with ghosts in it arriving in New York...

That's not the first reference to Ghostbusters in LOST cause we already had Miles first centric as him chasing ghosts...
The Titanic reference is also interesting cause in lost we have a boat, a character named Jack, a character named Rose...and Michael's last name is Dawson... in the movie Titanic Jack Dawson is Di Caprio's name...and Rose is Kate Winslet's name...
