In the season 2 episode "What Kate Did", Sawyer was sick, Kate was taking care of him. He wakes up, grabs her, says "You killed me. Why did you kill me?" then passes out.
Last night in Sideways World, we see that Kate crashed into Sawyer in what could've been a fatal car crash.
Perhaps Sawyer had some sort of Conscious Time/Sideways Travel when he was sick? Obviously, he didn't die, but still, this is a pretty damn close match.
Thoughts please?

Or perhaps it has yet to happen in the sideways..

That just made me remember, "It'll come back around." Makes me wonder if this James Ford is doomed.

I thought he said that because he was sort of "channeling" Wayne

When Juliet was near death, she told sawyer she needed to tell him something important. Miles revealed to Sawyer that she wanted to tell him "It worked"
Sawyer is near death and connects to another timeline where Kate is responsible for his death?
Maybe when you are nearing death, you have some connection with yourself in other timelines. It would be fun to look back at all of our lost losties to see if there are any other similarities.
Im not really a supporter of the multiple timeline theories but its fun to speculate and find support for any idea...

I never really bought the channeling Wayne storyline, though I do think that's what the writers intended. It also makes me think of that other weird quote of Sawyer's: "I made this birthday wish four years ago." Or whatever it was. Paraphrasing.
I really can't wait to do a complete rewatch after S6 is over. There will probably be a lot of those little weird things that make sense after it's all done.

This is how I interpreted it as well. I think in the earlier seasons we saw a couple examples of people "channeling" things from other contexts like that, right?
It would be a pretty neat idea that Sawyer was CTT'ing back then, but I don't know why he would of been CTT'ing. He hadn't been exposed to any exotic matter as far as we know.

I actually don't think that is what happened. I think the island was communicating to Kate about her experience with blowing up her biological dad.
