i also thought about him when richard mentioned hell. and i always assumed that ben told richard to bring anthony to the island.

Yep, that also immediately came to mind for me. "A little hot for heaven". What's the meaning of people thinking that the island is hell? I hope we get more explanation for the island than simply being a cork over evil. I miss the days of Locke being alive, convinced that the island was beautiful, magical and full of unbelievable potential. That's more exciting than two guys fighting and "keeping evil out".

Thought of that too. I loved the calm way Cooper accepted being in Hell and how he stilll taunted his son!
Locke was the one in chains before they brought him to see Cooper - just like Richard was locked up when his wife appeared. I guess we know Cooper wasn't an illusion though, cause Sawyer killed him...

Hmm, well was he brought to the island before of after the sub was blown up? Because now we know what Ben is like, that box he mentioned was probably him just making it sound special because of his power he wants to keep etc. So it is possible he was just brought on the sub.
