Hmmm - I can't decide....can Jin speak English in the Alt timeline? He understood that the hotel receptionist had only assigned one room. He said "Thank you" to Keemy (for sparing his life as he hadn't been paid?), and he could pretty much tell Sayed not to kill him. This is in contrast to Sun, who cannot speak English (we assume?).
I also noticed some parralels between Alt and Island realities; as Sun ran away from Flocke and was knocked out by a tree branch, in Altworld, she awoke on a pillow with a print of a branch on it!!! And she said she had an idea....to run away - which is what she was doing in Islandworld...running away from Flocke. Her realities have sort of merged.

I didn't think about the fact that she mentioned the running away idea after she woke up and we saw the scene of her running from Flocke. Remember, Desmond awoke and had the new memories when Faraday went and told him to find his mother. The one problem is that I feel pretty confident she came up with this plan to run away long before that morning. That was the entire reason she hid away $25,000 in what she thought was a secret account. So that hints it was premeditated for sure.
