Pickett says this in "I Do" from season 3 just after Jack starts the surgery on Ben. How do we reconcile this with what we know now?

Presumably Pickett got any information about lists from Ben, and we know now that Ben had never talked to Jacob. So those lists were created by Ben most likely, he didn't know what was going on. Bit lame unfortunately, if I have that right

We don't know which particular list he was talking about either. It could have been one of many.

Here's an interesting take on things -- the list NCJames is talking about is the list of Candidates, and Jacob specifically left Shepard off because he knew he'd follow along the others anyway, just like he knew that showing Jack the Lighthouse was the way to rope him into Camp Jacob. In fact, excluding his name on that list was specifically intended to get Jack's goat, so to speak, because Jacob knows all the losties personalities really well, having watched them their whole lives.
