View Full Version : No one thought to look out for Dem?

I am a bit baffled that no one thought to keep an eye on Dem, that just strikes me as odd. They KNOW the gun is still out there and they KNOW he is just one or two days away from the 15th!

I have 2 questions:

1. If Dem hadn't switched partners, would Frost be trying to kill Al? Did Al an Dem switch places? Would Al have been the one to throw off Frost by killing himself on the "wrong" date?

2. If Frost is "all knowing" I am going to be a bit frustrated with this show. It is playing out too much in Frost's favor for me. I really want Dem to "not" die, just to take some of the control away from Frost, it is getting too much like Frost is some self proclaimed "god like" character just playing a human game of chess where he doesn't just conquer the pieces, he kills off the actual human. If he kills Dem is really becomes a little "whats the point?" for me. The "all knowing" Frost can come in your house whenever he pleases, talk to your kid whenever he pleases, even leave you messages whenever he pleases. Why fight it?

Yeah, seems pretty foolish to me as well. At least assign him a body guard or something.

oooh, interesting thought. Maybe this whole Demetri death thing is more about messing with Mark's head than killing Demetri.

If the FBI assigned a security agent to Demetri we wouldn't have the drama and suspense in the plot. ;) I can imagine what FBI agents in real life are thinking if they watch this show.

Well, for sure Frost is messing with Mark's head which seems to be nudging Mark in the direction Frost wants.

Frost says he saw his own death on March 15 but can we trust him to be telling the truth? Perhaps the timeline in which Frost saw himself alive on March 15 was the same timeline Demetri dies. Frost is manipulating and engineering the timeline in which he sees himself alive.

Did anyone notice the Title Image?
Here's a screen cap (http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100416082449/flashforward/images/d/d5/1x16_TitleImage.jpg) of it.

Yeah, I noticed it. Usually it's something shown in the episode, but I don't remember seeing that anywhere in this episode...
Is it a shot of Frost's chalk board perhaps?

The only other "teaser flash" we saw that did not resolve in the same episode was the Crown Cheese Steak menu from episode 110 of A561984. It was finally seen in episode 112 iirc. If this is similar to the one before then we'll see this resolve over the next episode or so. This one might be in Dyson Frost's new "lair" and of course the context of it can be thought of in opposite ways (of course). I'm going with Dyson removing Demetri from the game temporarily because he seems to be a focal point or "speed bump" for Frost's plans. I think he'll be trying to keep Dem safe and of course keep himself out of harm's way as well until the Ides of March pass over.
