Just wanted to throw this idea around...

We know that dead people with 'unfinished' business and or dead people who have commited terrible crimes get stuck on the island's underworld and become whisperers...

My question is:

Could it be possible that Jacob is now also unable to cross to the 'other side' because of the things he did????

By that I mean being directly or indirectly responsible for the deaths of who knows how many 'candidates' and people he used to prove MiB wrong?

I mean--it seems like he would have to be. I think that while Jacob is very important in what we know of the island that the 'Island' didn't view him that way. Plus, Hurley sees him on the island just like he sees Michael. The only thing that might be to the contrary is that his appearances to Hurley didn't seem to be foreshadowed by the whispers.
